National Walking MonthWalking is one of the simplest and easiest ways to improve your health and wellbeing, and it doesn't cost a penny!
This May will be National Walking Month. Check out the Activity Finder for social walking groups in your area. Just pop in your postcode and the search tool will magic up a list of local walking groups from gentle through to advanced options!
One of the groups listed on the Activity Finder is the Ladywood Heritage Walking Group. It is a free, regular group for those who want to socialise outdoors and learn about their local area whilst getting active. The group meets at the historic canalside Roundhouse in Ladywood, and explores the local area.
Anyone who is interested in getting involved is very welcome, but they are particularly interested in hearing from those who are from or live in Ladywood and are aged 50+.
For more information on The Ladywood Heritage Walking Group click here. If you are interested in listing your sport or physical activity on Activity Finder check out this handy guidance video here.
