Welcome to our latest newsletter. As the lighter evenings and warmer weather arrive, this term provides a great opportunity for schools and young people to connect with the wide range of local sport and physical activity opportunities available within the community.
In this edition, we’re spotlighting ways for schools to access and engage with local clubs, facilities and events, helping pupils experience sport close to home and build lasting links beyond the school setting. These opportunities aim to support positive transitions into community sport, inspire continued participation, and encourage active lifestyles throughout the summer months. We’re also sharing information about funding and support available to help schools strengthen community connections and broaden access to sport and physical activity.
As always, we encourage schools to keep an eye on our events and opportunities pages, where new activities are regularly added. We hope this newsletter supports you throughout Summer Term 1 and helps you create meaningful, active experiences for children and young people within local communities.
